			<description><![CDATA[ Hi,<br>I admit I am new at pouring slip. I am doing well with earthenware slip, but am having a great deal of trouble pouring stoneware. The stoneware slip is much thicker than the earthenware. It is pulling apart when I open the mold, and seems to take a day or more to dry in the mold. 			<description><![CDATA[ Hi, I purchased a jar of the cone 6 Spectrum Satin Clear glaze, but noticed after the firing, it was still quite glossy. Is there anything on the market that will fire with a very low sheen as you might see on commercial stoneware dinner and bakeware ware. I would be decorating on soft-fired stoneware bisque with one of the 06 bisque underglazes like Stroke &amp; Coat or Concepts which fires with some what of a gloss even at 06 (which I would want toned down). Maybe I'm using the wrong... ]]></description>

			<title><![CDATA[ still having trouble with plates and bowls ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ I am using seeley's stoneware slip and pouring in new molds from ann original mold co.  Could the plaster on these new molds be too pourous?  I sprayed with water and lightly used talc before pouring.  NONE of the leatherhard pieces will release.  I have tried blowing compressed air around edges, propping molds so the bowls can 'drop' out naturally, setting near window, etc.  The clay is stuck on the mold soooo tight!   If I use my fingers to pull pieces off, the plates and bowls will get... ]]></description>
